Essay 1-01a: introducing myself to a home stay family

I will go to Minnesota in America for a month in this summer. Because, I will participate in kaigaikenshu. It is overseas study in Bethel. I have never been to America, so very excited to go to there.

I want to work for a travel company after graduate from University. So I need English skills and decided to participate home stay program. I don't have any confidence in my English. But I want to enjoy talking with foreigner in English.



I will introduce my hobby, pastimes and likes and dislike in foods for my host family. First, my hobby is playing sports, especially I like to play volleyball. I'm good at it. But I'm not good at to play badminton.
Second, I have a dog. She is 9 years old and golden retriever. Her name is "lime". I often take her out for a walk in eveing about for 30 minutes. So I like dogs so much.
Third, my pastimes are shopping and watching TV. It's make my happy and refresh!! I like Korean and American drama. My favorite drama is "Heroes". Do you know it? This story excited and attract me. I want to watch the season 3.
Then, I like chocolates and fruits but I don't like cheese. I'm looking forward to eating American foods. [216words]
